The BEST Entrepreneurship Experience (BEE) is an event that will take place on the 11th of May that brings together students from across the University of Lisbon who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills, while working on a business idea to face a current challenge. Through a series of workshops and Innovation Sprints, you will gain valuable skills related to entrepreneurship, innovation and market entry. More than a competition, it's an experience!

Workshops

Hands-on, immersive experiences that will provide participants with the skills, tools and knowledge to turn their ideas into reality.

Innovation Sprint

Gather your team and get ready to dive head first into the exciting world of entrepreneurship! You will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity, experiment and perfect your ideas, all with the guidance of our specialized facilitators. Feel the electrifying energy in the air as you and your team come together in perfect harmony to turn your ideas into reality! The time has come to unleash all your entrepreneurial spirit and achieve success!

Pitch

Practice your presentations in front of other teams. This is the perfect opportunity to improve your presentation skills, receive feedback from your colleagues and grow together. You will have the opportunity to present your product to other teams, providing and receiving constructive feedback along the way. So, get ready to take your presentation to the next level!

FAQ

Any student enrolled in a Master's or Bachelor's degree program at a university located in Lisbon is eligible to participate in BEE. Each team is 4 people.

Any language will do.

At the civil pavillion in Alameda IST

To enrol you just have to fill the forms in our website until 30th of April!! There's a security deposit of 3€/participant If you comply with all the rules stipulated in the regulations and fill out the feedback form, this deposit will be refunded to you at the end of the competition.

There will be 3 moments of evaluation and a final pitch, each one will have a point system and wins the team with more points.

No! The professionals will give you all the skills you need to know. In this event you will learn how to be an entrepreneur

The BEE spans over two days: the event day, on May 11th, where participants will tackle a current issue by creating a product; and the final pitch day to the jury, on May 13th. You will find out the topic during th opening ceremony (may 11th)

Yes, BEST Lisbon will provide the meals during the competition (Saturday the 11th lunch and coffee break; and the coffee break on Monday the 13th).
